Defense was on display in Burnsville Saturday night as the Stampede topped the Pioneers 12-10. There were two scoreless quarters, with the Pioneers leading by 1 at the half. St Paul would extend their lead to 10-6 in the 4th quarter before Sioux City pulled off another come from behind win in the 4th quarter.
Both teams are now (3-1), with St Paul leading the tiebreakers.
Non-League Action -
Fargo traveled to New London, MN to take on the Minnesota Mud Dawgs of the CAFL. The Invaders won earlier in the year 47-0 in Fargo and this game was on its' way to be similar.
Minnesota scored on a Returned Extra Point attempt in the 1st quarter, but after injuries piled-up, the Mud Dawgs had to throw in the towel at the half.
Fargo moves to (5-3) overall, (1-3) in NEFL play.
