Pioneers, Invaders Win NEFL Matchups, Warriors defeat Bulldogs

A couple league shutouts by the Invaders & Pioneers, and a huge National matchup for the Warriors & Bulldogs.

Fargo's defense was on-point, securing 3 turnovers and holding the Sabercats to 87 passing & 24 rushing yards for the game.  The Invaders offense exploded in the 3rd quarter for 22 points, with Jamus Neal III leading the offense attack in both passing yards (142) & rushing yards (99), accounting for 4 TD's.  Nate Soto hauled in two scores for Fargo on 3 catches for 79 yards. Angelo Martin (Sabercats) was the leading tackler for the game.

St Paul turned the heat on early, scoring 26 points in the first quarter.  From there it would be cruise-control for the Pioneers while the defense pitched the shutout.

Minneapolis traveled south to Kansas City to take on the Undefeated & reigning National Champion Bulldogs.  The first half was back-and-forth with the Warriors finally getting on the board in the 1st & KC answering in the 2nd.  Warriors would again take the lead with a TD in the 3rd, and extend it to 16-6 with a FG late in the 4th.  The Bulldogs were able to answer with a TD but it was too little, too late for Kansas City.
