The 2022 Season has come to an end, with the Elite Bowl on the horizon. This is the matchup many predicted at the start of the season and is sure to not disappoint.
The two teams split their series this season, with each team winning at home.
Kansas City is led by veteran QB Barron Bradshaw, who's thrown for 445 yards, 7 TD's and only 2 Interceptions in 5 games. On the ground, Daniels & Connor each have over 100 yards & 2 TD's on the season.
While defensively Myke McJunkins leads the defense, with Isaac Wright & Harris Mgbike adding to the Front 7. Landrian Gordan has been stellar on the backend, with a host of other core veterans that know how to win.
St Paul, on the other hand, has struggled at QB all season having 4 QB's sharing the workload, throwing 5 TD's compared to 6 Int's & 767 yards in 9 games. Help arrived for the Pioneers, in the form of 2x NEFL MVP Ja'Vonte Johnson; Johnson's arrival in the first round of the playoffs was to the tune of 315 yards & 5 TD's as St Paul defeated the Fargo Invaders, ending the Pioneers 2-game losing streak. Jeffrey DuBose & Kwaawczar White have paced the ground game for St Paul. Defense has carried the Pioneers through the regular season, led by Ryan Saumur, Anthony Payne, and Eric Shaw on the Front 7.
With the additions of Johnson, Moe Strong, & Mike Caples; the Pioneers will have a whole new look compared to two weeks ago when the Bulldogs won 34-12. Will it be enough to erase a 22-point deficit?
