Week 5 Recap

06/11/2017, 9:15pm CDT

Warriors, Pioneers, Bulls, Rough Riders Win

The NEFL is halfway through the Regular Season, here's how Week 5 wrapped-up.

1pm - Warriors 41, Brawlers 3

Both teams entered the game (1-2) in the West, sitting tied for the third and final playoff spot.  The Warriors don't have plans to sneak into the playoffs as the 3 seed, they're still shooting for Home-Field advantage; for a second week in a row, they've proven they're a top team in the NEFL.

2pm - Pioneers 46, Sting 0

The Pioneers are undefeated in the NEFL, while the Sting came in winless in the West.  The Sting held tough in first half, down just 16 points at the break.  But the final score kept with the trend.

6pm - Bulls 20, Force 10

The Force got on the board first with a FG, but by halftime the Bulls answered with a Touchdown for the 7-3 lead.  The Bull tacked on 6 more in the 3rd quarter, but in the 4th the Force made a game of it scoring to pull within 10-13.  Northland capped off the game with a Touchdown and the win.

6pm - Rough Riders 7, Predators 3

River City rolls through the East undefeated.  There have been some close games and some high scoring games, for this one the Rough Riders defense held tough.

In non-League Action:

4pm - Stampede [MFA] 60, Invaders 25

The Invaders did an un-Invaders thing, traveling lightly for this exhibition game.  Playing against one of the top teams in the MFA, the Invaders fell behind 14-27 by halftime.  The heat took its' toll in the 2nd half as Fargo couldn't get things going.
