Few Changes after 2 League games

Kickoff Weekend only had 2 league games, so not much has changed.  The Warriors opened with a win over the Rough Riders, while the Sioux City Stampede won big at home over the Renegades.

1. Minneapolis Warriors (1-0; 1-0) +0

Minneapolis opened the year home against the Rough Riders, grinding out a win 22-14.
Up Next: 5/12 vs #4 Fargo Invaders (0-0; 1-0)

2. Sioux City Stampede (1-0; 1-0) +1

The Stampede opening game as part of the Northern Elite Football League was a 92-0 win over the Granite City Renegades.

3. St. Paul Pioneers (0-0; 0-1) -1

St Paul kicked off their season with a non-league game against the Kansas City Bulldogs.  A game that went back and forth, the Bulldogs came out on top 29-27 on a last second FG.
Up Next: 5/12 @ [MFA] Des Moines Blaze

4. Fargo Invaders (0-0; 1-0) +0

The Fargo Invaders opened with a win over MPFL Minnesota Mud Dawgs, 42-0.  Now will play the Top 3 ranked teams within the first 4 weeks.
Up Next: 5/12 @ #1 Minneapolis Warriors (1-0; 1-0)

5. Northland Bulls (0-0; 0-0) +0

In 2018 they return their coaching staff and NEFL Offensive MVP Brett Schreiner, as they look to take the final step & reach their full potential.
Up Next: 5/12 @ #7 Fox Valley Force (0-0; 1-1)

6. River City Rough Riders (0-1; 2-1) +0

The Rough Riders opened league play with a tough loss against the defending Champion Warriors 14-22.  River City has looked impressive in 2 non-league wins over the Stanley Cowboys and Minnesota Vipers.
Up Next: 5/12 vs #8 Med City Freeze (0-0; 0-0)

7. Fox Valley Force (0-0; 1-1) +0

Fox Valley chalked up a win over the Slayers of the NLFL, but fell in a close game, 17-11, against defending MSFL Champion Wisconsin Hitman.
Up Next: 5/12 vs #5 Northland Bulls (0-0; 0-0)

8. Med City Freeze (0-0; 0-0) +0

Med City may be the biggest Wild Card in the NEFL.  They have a strong Defense and huge Offensive Line to pair with their backs & receivers. Look for the Freeze to make some noise in 2018.
Up Next: 5/12 @ #6 River City Rough Riders (0-1; 2-1)

9. Hudson Thunderhawks (0-0; 1-0) +0

Hudson picked up a win over the MPFL Minnesota Storm this season, and now head into NEFL League play against the Vipers.
Up Next: 5/12 @ #10 Minnesota Vipers (0-0; 0-1)

11. Minnesota Vipers (0-0; 0-1) +1

Minnesota had one non-league game against River City, which was scheduled before the Vipers joined the league.  Minnesota opens league play at home against Hudson.
Up Next: 5/12 vs #9 Hudson Thunderhawks (0-0; 1-0)

11. Granite City Renegades (0-1; 0-1) -1

Granite City played their first NEFL game with a long road trip to Sioux City, and came out without a score.  Things won't get much easier with the Pioneers up next, following a bye week.
Up Next: 5/19 @ #3 St Paul Pioneers (0-0; 0-1)
