Pioneers Knock off Undefeated Stampede

Everyone had their eyes on the Pioneers/Stampede game, and it did not disappoint!  The other two games also had their share of excitement

The Med City Freeze made things interesting, leading 20-17 at the half.  But the Bulls took back the lead in the 3rd, and piled on in the 4th quarter to win 45-20.

River City spoiled "Ring of Honor" night in Hudson, as the Rough Riders rode to a 20-8 halftime lead.  They would add more scores in each quarter of the 2nd half to close out the game 38-10.

What a nail-biter in St Paul, as the Pioneers kicked a Game Winning, 54-yard Field Goal with 2 seconds left on the clock.  St Paul punted it away down 12-14 with just over 2 minutes remaining, relying on their defense and they stood tall.  Sioux City went for it on 4th Down to finish off the game but got stuffed.  With time running out and the ball on the 37-yard line, the Pioneers trotted out their Kicker for the Game Winner!

Minneapolis picked up the forfeit win.

Non-League Game -

Minnesota Storm of the MPFL forfeited their game against the Invaders.
