Hudson Thunderhawks Cease Operations

One Week Left, T-Hawks Call it Quits

The Hudson Thunderhawks announced on Facebook this morning that they are ceasing operations for the remainder of the 2018 season.

"Today is truly the saddest day that I have had during my 8 year tenure with the Thunderhawk program. Due to the drying up of financial resources and a lack of players able to commit to the game this weekend, effective immediately the Hudson Thunderhawks will cease operations. There will be no game this weekend. The Thunderhawk administration is working to ensure that all financial obligations will be met. We would like to thank the handful of dedicated players to the program, and those in the Hudson community who have shown support these last 2 years. The Thunderhawks have seen many changes over the last 12 years. Overcome many obstacles, and had many successes. Unfortunately all things come to an end eventually.

Hudson Thunderhawks,
Dennis Johnson

The St Paul Pioneers vs Hudson Thunderhawks game will be counted as a 2-0 forfeit win for the Pioneers.

June 20th was the last day for any players to be released from their LOI, thus any Thunderhawk players will not be able to join other NEFL teams for the remainder of the NEFL season.
